About the Project
Creating a Stronger Digital Connection With Communities
Fight for Democracy is a civic engagement organization focused on expanding democratic participation, keeping voters informed, and supporting community involvement. Its website brings together information about its commitment, events, news, leadership, voter resources, and community initiatives.
The challenge was to create a digital experience that could communicate a broad range of information without making the platform feel overwhelming.
The website needed to serve multiple audiences—including community members, supporters, partners, and people looking for election and civic information—while maintaining a strong, contemporary visual identity.
Our Approach
Turning Civic Information Into an Engaging Digital Experience
We created a structured experience that connects the organization's mission, communities, initiatives, and opportunities to participate.
The design approach focused on:
Clarifying the Message
We organized the experience around clear themes and priorities, helping visitors quickly understand what the organization focuses on.
Community-First Storytelling
People and communities remain central to the experience, supported by event photography, community stories, and real-world initiatives.
Simplifying Information
We structured news, events, leadership, election resources, and organizational priorities into distinct content areas, making information easier to explore.
Simplifying Information
Clear calls to action guide visitors toward relevant next steps, including joining the movement, exploring events, learning about initiatives, and accessing election information.
Our Impact

Final Outcome
A Digital Platform Built for Engagement
The final experience brings together civic information, community initiatives, events, leadership, news, and voter resources within one cohesive digital platform.
The redesigned structure creates clearer pathways for different audiences:
Explore → Understand → Engage → Participate
The result is a platform that makes a complex range of organizational content easier to navigate while giving community stories and civic participation a stronger digital presence.
A clearer digital experience for connecting communities, information, and civic participation.
